Inviting Users

An invitation is how a person becomes an active member of your workspace. Until they accept, they exist in your system but can't log in.


How to send an invitation

  1. Go to People and open the person's profile
  2. Click Invite to workspace
  3. Confirm the email address
  4. Click Send invitation

The person receives an email with a link to create their account and join the workspace.


What the invitee sees

They'll get an email that:

  • Tells them they've been invited to your workspace
  • Includes a link to set up their password and log in

The link is valid for 7 days. If it expires, you can resend the invitation from their profile.


Resending an invitation

If someone didn't get the email or the link expired:

  1. Open their profile in People
  2. Click Resend invitation

A fresh link is sent to the same email address.

tip

Ask the invitee to check their spam folder if they can't find the email. Invite emails occasionally land there on first send.


Revoking an invitation

If you sent an invitation by mistake or the situation changed:

  1. Open their profile
  2. Click Revoke invitation

The link is invalidated immediately. You can always send a new one later.
