Open Positions

Open Positions is where you manage the roles you're actively hiring for. Each position has its own candidate list, scorecard setup, and status.

  2. Click New position
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Title — the job title (required)
    • Department — optional grouping
    • Description — role overview, visible internally

    • Scorecard fields — the criteria interviewers will rate (e.g. Technical skills, Communication, Culture fit)
  4. Click Create

The position opens immediately with a status of Open.

Position statuses

StatusWhat it means
OpenActively hiring — candidates can be added and interviews scheduled
PausedHiring is on hold — no new activity, existing applications stay
ClosedHiring is complete or cancelled — the position is no longer active

You can change the status at any time from the position detail page.

Scorecard fields

Scorecard fields are what interviewers rate when they submit feedback for a candidate. They're defined per position — so you can tailor them to the role.

Default fields when creating a position:

  • Technical skills
  • Communication
  • Culture fit

You can edit, add, or remove fields before any interviews are sent. Fields are rated on a 1–5 scale.

Managing candidates on a position

From a position's detail page you can:

  • Add a candidate — link an existing person in your workspace to this position as a candidate
  • View applications — see all candidates, their interview status, and the feedback collected so far
  • Open an application — view the full scorecard for a specific candidate, send interview invitations, and share the scorecard
tip

Candidates need to exist in your People list first. If someone isn't in the system yet, add them via People → Add person before linking them to a position.
